Abstract
A hyperhigh-frequency HCN discharge laser for biomedical studies in clinical conditions is described. This laser is easy-to-use, practically feasible and foolproof. It is pumped by alternating current of an industrial frequency. The gas discharge is excited by means of the original electrodes placed outside the quasioptical resonator of waveguide type. The laser radiation parameters at the wavelength of 337 /spl mu/m are presented.
