Abstract :
The number of inbound visitors and its growth rate of inbound tourism are key indicators in reflecting international tourism development levels of a country or a region. BCG Matrix model was used to analyze Guangdong international inbound tourism market during the process of research, selecting market share rate and market growth rate to build tourism market competitive state, besides, it analyzes the market share rate and the market growth rate of Guangdong main inbound tourist source markets in Guangdong international tourism from 1999 to 2008, and it shows the changing situation of the number of Guangdong foreign tourists. Finally, the relative market development strategies are put forward on the basis of the above research.
