Abstract :
In this paper, we employed SuperMap and Access to store, edit and manage the fundamental geographic data of China, the distribution of wind energy resources and the wind power industry. Then based on supermap objects and Visual Studio, an information system for the on-grid and non-grid-connected wind power industry in China is developed. By using the developed system, we can easily query and analyze not only the wind energy distribution in China, the intensity distribution of the annual effective wind power with speed greater than 3 m/s, but also the national and provincial assessment of the wind energy resources, the wind power farm layout and construction. Besides, the system can also be utilized to determine the large-scale wind power base and the corresponded high energy consumption carbon-free industrial bases in China. We further analyzed the ldquolambdardquo shape layout of the on-grid and non-grid-connected wind power industry, which should be kept in line with the wind energy resources status in rich wind regions, and the spatial layout of the electrolytic aluminum industry, the chlor-alkali chemical industry, the coal chemical industry, and the seawater hydrogen production industry.
