Abstract :
Using the methods of co-integration analysis and Granger causality test, this paper researches on the relationship between Henan´s GDP and energy consumption based on the data of 1980-2008. The empirical results show that there is a stable equilibrium relation between Henan´s energy consumption and economic growth in the long run. The results also show that there is one-orientated causality from economic growth to energy consumption.
