Abstract :
The paper presents the results of development and characteristics of photo-receiving module designed for operation in fiber-optic systems of transmission and processing of optic signals up to 7-10Gb/s for 1300 and 1550 nm emission wavelength. Presented in this paper are spectral characteristics, parameters of S2i and 822 and back reflected optic and high frequency electric signal values depending on sinusoid modulation frequency of the input optic signal up to 20GHz. The device was designed by INJECT Enterprise. CJSC R&M Ceter ALMAZ-FAZOTRON, Saratov, provided the technical support in development and manufacturing of VHF-plate. Study of high frequency characteristics up to 10 GHz was carried out by INJECT Enterprise, and above 10 GHz-by PhotoNova Inc., Canada. The photo-receiving modules under development have to be maximum unified in structure and characteristics for its possible replacements by the nearest analogues. They have standard input and output circuits, feature low levels of high frequency electric and back reflection noises.
