  • Abstract
    For the optimization of multi-project in condition of limited resources, it is very hard to obtain the satisfying computation result by using traditional methods. However, genetic algorithm is better than the traditional optimization methods for the best solution. Basing on the theorem of genetic algorithm and the characteristic of multi-project resource optimization, a mathematic model to optimize the MP problem is proposed. Genetic Algorithm and Adaptive Genetic Algorithms are applied for the optimization problem, and the feasibility and efficiency of this method are verified by a case study. Specially, the better solution is obtained when improved Genetic Algorithm is applied for the problem. Therefore, the method has its application value for the resource optimization of multi-project management.
