Abstract :
The ultra-low-noise 3 mm wave Schottky diode mixer receiver is described. Noise performances of the receiver have been investigated at standard environment -40 C and 20 K. DSB receiver noise temperatures, measured at these temperatures are 245 K, 180 K and 55 K accordingly. These values are the best ever obtained with Schottky diodes in the 3 mm wave band.
