Abstract :
As one of the basic theory of traffic sign design, visual effect of Chinese characters on the traffic signs with different levels of stroke thickness was focused on. Based on cognitive psychology and traffic engineering, for the first time, the effect was analyzed by Event-related brain potential(ERP) experiment. Components of Event-related potentials P2 and N4 were evoked. And by identified the results, the relationship between components of ERP and Stimulus were given.
