Abstract :
According to the TOP model theory, taking one tunnel as an example, the environmental effect of pollutant diffusion from tunnel portal is analyzed. The research findings show that the concentration of pollutants is beyond the ambient air quality standards in a certain region near the tunnel portal, when all of the waste gas discharges from portal without from shaft. The concentration of pollutants decrease with the increase of distance from the portal, and the worst air quality due to pollutant diffusion occurs in summer among the whole year. What´s more, the environment pollution influence of NO2 is remarkably stronger than that of CO under the same condition. The pollutant diffusion is significantly affected by air volume in tunnel.
