Abstract :
There are great differences between DG TNCs and the transnational corporations of developed country (DC TNCs) in technological innovation field. This study analyze the situation of China´s Haier Group, Korea´s Samsung Electronics Co. and US General Electric GE by using Data Envelope Analysis methods, compared to the research and development input-output efficiency of these three enterprises. Both transnational corporations of developing countries and transnational corporations of developed countries take research and development as the main source of technological innovation. Comparatively speaking, fund investments of research and development take great impact on the sales of initial phase of the enterprise internationalization, with the deepening of the internationalization of transnational corporations; the impact of scale economies of enterprises will be increasing.
