  • Abstract
    In this paper, we presented a TV hinge control technique to get a viewing angle to help viewers to watch their TV screen from anywhere in the room. To control the hinge in a remote position, we used a remote driving device that allows the viewers to control the angle of their TV view by touching a button. After designing the TV hinge driving unit, we tested a motor drive IC and a motor which can control the torque depending on the weight of the TV monitor panel and the rotation speed. Finally, we evaluated that this controller could adjust the tilt of the TV from -15deg to +15deg and the swivel from -30deg to +30deg with 1-rpm speed.
