  • Abstract
    Surface deformation of goaf is effected by a series of geological and mining conditions. In order to study the process of dynamic deformation, based on EMD and phase space reconstruction technologies, and the data of surface deformation monitored, this paper puts forward laws of surface analysis method of dynamic time-varying: First, the EMD technology was applied to extract the time-variable deformations of surface, then the phase planes of surface are constructed by using phase space reconstruction technique for studying the evolution of surface deformation. The test shows that by using this method the variation of time-variable deformation of surface deformation can be clearly shown.
