Abstract :
China´s Titanium Dioxide has clearly dual characters: Products of Titanium Dioxide perform well in quality, as well as in energy conservation, environmental protection, and the development of the whole economy. However, the production process of Titanium Dioxide consumes a lot of energy, and it releases a significant amount of pollutants. The only method to settle this contradiction is to stimulate industrial upgrading. This paper will explain the contradiction within China´s Titanium Dioxide industry and give out some suggestions.
