Abstract :
With the fast development of information technologies, GIS is used for spatial analysis and visualization of large-volume data through Internet, i.e. complicated algorithms, vector data, high resolution images and digital elevation model. This thesis implemented WebGIS in accordance with OGC standards, on the basis of the open source of World Wind with Java version. OGC specifications were analyzed and WebGIS framework was implemented, e.g. Xi´an spatial data of five layers. Based on WebGIS framework, flood inundation architecture was designed, procedure of flood inundation and algorithm for flood area were described. 3D visualization of flood inundation at different flood levels based on WebGIS was displayed, providing convenient human-computer interaction to decision-makers and scientific researches.
