Abstract :
A method for analyzing economy of offshore wind turbine installation vessel is introduced in this paper. Cost calculation method of wind turbine installation vessel (TIV) is discussed by confirming total working time and cost per unit time of TIV. By selecting navigation distance to offshore wind farm and possibility of significant wave height in wind farm as the main variant affecting the economy of turbine installation vessel, four types of present mainstream turbine installation vessels are compared and analyzed and their feasibilities are concluded.
