Abstract :
To effectively avoid the impacts caused by flash and subtitle to shot detection, the paper proposes a shot boundary detection method based on color space. By analyzing brightness, and to reduce impacts caused by captions inserted around a video and icon inserted from corners, here, we calculate frame difference with improved histogram weighted partition method. With change rule of inter-frame difference, combining global and self-adaptive threshold, we can control abrupt change detection to enhance precision ratio. Based on characteristics of flash to detect flash sequence, we can make it not involved in calculation of the adaptive threshold to enhance the threshold accuracy to further promote precision ratio in lens detection.
