Abstract :
This paper presents a model of Traffic Forecasting and Navigation Assistance System via Web Application which provides guidance information to drivers for the efficient route planning. Traffic Forecasting and Navigation Assistance System (TFNAS) consists of survey car with GPS module which has rolls of reading traffic information and sending the information to TFNAS Center via internet. TFNAS Center is the center of GPS database and traffic information processing system. It collects GPS information real-time, calculates the traffic density and sends the guidance information of the most effective route which has a least time of arrival to Front-end Devices, Smart Phone PDA Laptop, via Web Brower.
