  • Abstract
A rigid electrodynamic theory for calculation of N-element ferrite-dielectric waveguide-resonator system is presented. The solution for equation with basic elements has been obtained using the partial zones technique, taking into account multimode character of waves transformation. Considered in this paper are the two cases, which are important from the practical point of view: the system consists of the finite number of geometrically-equal and geometrically-different media of basic elements. For the system with equal elements, coefficients of scattering matrix are defined using Chebyshev polynomials. Boundary problem for the system with different elements has been solved using operational method. Numerical algorithms for calculation of diffractional characteristics of single and N-element ferrite-dielectric waveguide-resonator systems are also created. Such systems could be important as broadband and narrowband electrically driven filters.
