Abstract
The design of EHF aperture waveguide ferrite phase shifters for phased arrays is considered. The influences of manufacture and assembly errors, as well as of spread parameters of normalized materials are analyzed. The computer simulation was based on a high-level mathematical model comprising both the homogeneous waveguide eigenwaves evaluation and the scattering problem solution. The design of Ka and W-band Faraday-type ferrite phase shifters is summarized.
