Abstract
Theoretical analysis of electron motion in periodical longitudinal magnetic field is given in this paper. In terms of theoretical analysis, the mechanism of electron "focusing" in such systems is offered. Analyzed in this paper is the influence of electrons arrival into drift space on the character of electron transit through the undulator.
