Abstract :
Eyellipse and hand-reach envelop are the important design tools of auto body layout. The paper introduces how to create sampling database of eyellipse and hand-reach envelop by the function of CATIA V5 KBE module basing on principle of parameterization driving. Using the sampling database can supply good design tool to be convenience to design and check, avoid repetitive work, not only efficiency could be improved but design veracity could be increased for designers.
