Abstract :
A PGC (plant growth chamber) is a system in which plants may grow by supplying all environmental ingredients needed, like light and thermal energy and liquid and gaseous materials. The aim of this research is an implementation of a new and automatic controlled PGC, which uses plasma ionized and magnetic-processed liquid materials for plants on contrary to the conventional PGC´s. In Korean commercial agriculture, the liquid culture system in a vinyl house is already prevailed. But core materials and systems like a nourished water and an automatic control system are mainly imported from foreign countries. Therefore through this research, we intend to obtain a related fundamental technology and to supply a low cost and better performed PGC, as well as implementation of ionized liquid materials based on plasma technology and a remote automatic control system based on information technology. All living organic processes are related with ionized processes. A nourished water for plants is a kind of ionized liquid material. A positive relationship between the level of ionization and the growth of an organism like fish and plants is reported by a research team in Japan. In this research, we are using plasma ionized and magnetic-processed liquid materials for a test plant. The magnetic-processed liquid materials is basically an enhanced ionized liquid material by passing through a devised magnetic field.
