Abstract
This paper describes the modelling of microwave remote sensing characteristics, which could prove to be valuable in monitoring processes on desertization, as sample salinisation of soils. This paper presents the results of numerical experiments on modeling the influence of salinity of wet soils on their radar sensing characteristics in P- (70 cm) wavelength range with the influence of a vertical profile of the soil humidity distribution.
