Abstract :
VISSOFT 2005 is the 3rd IEEE International Workshop on Visualizing Software for Understanding and Analysis. Software visualization is a broad research area encompassing techniques that assist in a broad range of software engineering activities including: specification, design, programming, testing, maintenance, reverse engineering and reengineering. In this workshop, we focus on visualization techniques that draw on aspects of software maintenance, program comprehension, reverse engineering, and reengineering. That is, we focus on how visualization can help programmers understand and analyze software. VISSOFT 2005 is co-located with the 21st International Conference on Software Maintenance (ICSM) 2005 and held in beautiful Budapest, Hungary.
