Abstract :
Results of atmospheric opacity testing during Sun observations with multibeam solar radio telescope (MSRT) of Tuorla observatory, Finland at 22.2 GHz and 36.5 GHz are described. Radio astronomical and "tipping curve" methods of determination of atmospheric opacity during Sun tracking are compared. Characteristics of MSRT at 22.2 and 36.5 GHz are given.
