Abstract
A high-power four-port transmit/receive switch was developed for an airborne VHF SAR application. The switch makes use of a novel PIN diode driver circuit that achieves high switching speeds while keeping the power dissipation in the driver transistors low. The system has a low insertion loss, is well matched and provides a large amount of isolation between the transmitter and the receiver
