    Whether company´s market competition ability is strong or weak directly influences current benefits and long-term development. In view of the fact that enterprises´ market competition is influenced by many factors, this paper has chosen main business income net interest rate of Measure of profitability as the surrogate of market competition ability and studied the capital structure, growth, property constitutes, company scale and other factors´ relationship with market competition ability in steel industry´s listed companies, revealing the internal influence among them. The results show that market competition ability of steel enterprises negatively correlates with debts level and positively correlates with company´s growth and asset tangibility, while company scale has no obvious effect with the market competition ability.
