  • Abstract
    In this paper, the importance of down-hole tool virtual laboratory in the petroleum engineering experimental teaching is discussed; the whole process to realize the virtual lab by means of multimedia courseware is introduced; the key technologies to develop the down-hole tool virtual lab are described in details in five aspects, i.e. the selection of experimental contents, the design of multimedia courseware, the preparation of materials, the system integration and the software debugging and packaging. Practice has proved that the virtual lab plays an important role in the experimental teaching, and good effect is achieved.
