Abstract :
This paper reports that self-focusing is an effective phenomenon in cavity regime. This effect tends to increase by laser interaction with nonlinear plasma especially when the laser power is more than critical rate. PIC simulation results that affected by self-focusing during elliptical cavity regime are presented. The theoretical results show efficient energy and gain for electrons trapped into the cavity. The results of PIC simulation during the first cavity production for two different laser powers are compared. Stronger longitudinal field is observed when self-focusing phenomenon occurs.
