Abstract :
The Light Rail Transport Line 1, going across the five inland rivers of Nanning city, laid along the main transport corridor fixing, which plays a significant role in connection between the east region and the west region of Nanning. So the construction of light rail has a crucial significance in the development of Nanning city. However, it will also have influence on the flood control, river ecology and urban greening plan of the regions where the light rail passed across. In this paper, two-dimensional mathematical model is applied to the different reaches of five rivers that the Light Rail Transport Line 1 came across to modeling the river regime changes with different frequencies flood designs in order to analyze the effects on flood and near shore of rivers and erosion of river bed made by the light rail. The result shows that the effects is not obvious but the embankment need to be protected due to the effect of erosion on the embankment to ensure the stability of river banks, and put forward some advances about the urban greening plan and river ecology. The result has positive significance to the reduction of flood and the design of traffic plan and construction and Execution Management.
