Abstract :
Aiming at satisfying the urgent requirement of interoperability in education information systems, and based on the research of CELTS_40, this article put forward a new interoperability multi-tier EMIS architecture model, which can implement most of the functions defined in CELTS_40 and some of new unique functions. In addition, it also overcomes the shortcomings of traditional EMIS systems effectively, such as, tightly-couple of the communication and information semantics, therefore it is more open and of interoperability and reusability.
