Abstract :
A Model of fuzzy reliability is established with consideration of load history for the evaluation of existing bridge structures through Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP). In this model, the reliability of load-bearing capacity for an actual box-beam concrete bridge is analyzed. Assuming failure of each aperture has strong correlation, fuzzy failure probability of load-bearing capacity is given and compared with that obtained by traditional method. Thus the favorable influence of load history should be considered. Results of the analysis show that the influence of load history on the increase in reliability of the bridge could not be neglected.
