On the Web-Based Tracking Survey of Educational Quality of Applied and Practical Majors

Different from theoretical ones, applied and practical majors (APM) demand more frequent update of knowledge. Universities need to be timely acquainted with enterprises´ latest demands and feedback, as well as their graduates´, to adjust their curriculums and knowledge given in class to cultivate competent students. Through analysis of the characteristics of APM, the fundament and feasibility of web-based tracking survey (TS) of educational quality is expatiated. In virtue of material analysis and comparison, active browsing, supplemented by e-mail and web meeting, can be employed as the most suitable method to carry out the foresaid survey, the promotion of which will benefit universities, graduates, enterprises and even the whole country´s sustainable development.
