Summary form only given. This paper presents a comparative study of five specification methods amenable to specifying electronic commerce systems. In this paper, we use the five different specification methods to specify a sample typical business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce scenario and compare the five specification methods using some identified evaluation criteria.
