Abstract :
This paper presents a solution for wireless home networks. In order to bypass diverse solutions in the domain of home networks, we took a TELEDOMOTIS standard solution as a premise to develop a generic solution. The aim of this solution is to substitute a wired link used in the TELEDOMOTIS standard by a mono-channel radio link. The solution studied explores a medium sharing method based on the encapsulation of two access methods. The first one is used to resolve the medium shared between different home networks, and the second resolves the medium access between devices in the same home network. Each method uses a proportional level of transmitted power allowing it to perform to its best.
