  • Abstract
    This paper presents how metamaterials can be used to enhance antenna bandwidth. To this purpose, a particular metamaterial cell is introduced for which its design parameters are detailed. This cell is then used to enhance the performances of a microstrip antenna which can be found in communication systems.
