Abstract :
The evaluation index system of urban rail transit line network planning scheme is presented by considering desired goals of different group´s interests. Generally, the development of urban rail transit line network of a city has different goals. Indicators are weighted equally under the circumstance of neglecting special development goals of urban rail transit. Then, they are weighted through analytic hierarchy process in the case of considering public transit priority development but ignoring the restraint to the use of cars. Thirdly, indicators are weighted by changing the proportion of weights which have been calculated in the second case to achieve the purpose of transit priority development and the restraint to the use of cars. This method combines qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis and then focus on the latter. Case study analysis shows that the best planning scheme may be different by considering different goals, thus provides reliable basis for making policies.
