Abstract :
The isoparametric finite element method is used to calculate the three-dimensional electric field of a tank-type circuit breaker and the large sparse matrix equation is solved using the ICCG (incomplete Cholesky-conjugate gradient) algorithm. The pointer addressing of the coefficient matrix is studied and a new data structure is adopted. The calculations show that the ICCG method can solve large sparse matrix equations effectively. Graph processing techniques on the display of three-dimensional meshes are also studied and a rapid hidden eliminating algorithm is taken to display the mesh graph of the nozzle and chamber. The effects of the nozzle on the electric field are studied.
