Abstract :
Human skin detection is a very popular in much application, particularly in video surveillance. Many researchers have been conducting research in this area, by producing a variety of effective methods. In this paper, research carried out by using a simple and effective. A method of human skin region detection is base on Mixture of Gaussian (MoG) background subtraction and YIQ color enhancement. The results of research showing human skin can be detected well. However, this experiments is carried out only on skin tan with indoor environment using the fixed camera.
