Abstract
To study the biological effects of electromagnetic fields (EMFs) produced by the ultra-high voltage power transmission lines, a method was developed to calculate the distribution of the EMF in human body under ultra-high voltage power transmission lines. This method is applicable to a three-dimensionally complex object such as a human body. The distribution of the EMF in the human body was calculated in this paper. This method is a useful tool for the evaluation of the biological effects and safety standards of ultra-high voltage transmission lines.
