Abstract :
A new current control method based on d-q theory for an active power filter is presented in this paper. To overcome the problems of complexity and low reliability of the hardware circuit by the traditional d-q method, the proposed method detects the harmonic current and the optimal control voltage vectors without reverse transformation and so simplifies the current control circuit. Simulation results prove the effectiveness of the method.
