The aging population is an unavoidable development trend over the world. Our country has become a member of the countries of aging population. In recent years, the governable income for the elder has been increased constantly and on that point, those persons will have more leisure time and the better physical situations, which all simulate the rising of the demands of the elder tourism. Therefore, the elder tourism becomes a huge potential market. However, due to the lacking development, it greatly constrains the elders´ consumption demands. Starting from the analysis on the existing problems in the elder tourism market presently, this paper then discussed the prospect of developing such market, studied the concerned marketing strategy and thus put forward the tourism types in accordance with the elders, in order to promote their tourism quality and life quality as well.
