Message from the general chairs

It is a great pleasure to introduce the proceedings of the PerCom 2010 workshops. Continuing the PerCom tradition, this volume contains the technical material of the events accompanying the PerCom conference: the thematic Workshops, Work-in-Progress, PhD Forum and the Demonstrations. These events constitute an integral part of PerCom and strongly contribute to its success. While the conference technical sessions present mature works on all the topics of interest, the purpose of these accompanying events is to provide less formal and more focused forums where initial results on novel and stimulating ideas can be presented, and experiences among researchers from both industry and academia can be shared.
