Abstract
In this paper, the resource allocation policy and algorithm for the uplink Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) network over the fading channel is studied. With the convex optimization theory, the optimal resource allocation is formulated as a weighted ergodic sum rate maximization problem. The theoretical ergodic capacity region with continuous rate adaption and discrete rate adaption is given subject to per-user power constraint. Simulation results show the ergodic capacity region for two-user uplink OFDMA network.
