Abstract :
An integrated automation system for underground coalmine distribution systems is introduced. It can provide the functions of integrated monitoring, protection, measurement and control. The system possesses the hierarchical and distributed structure. The integrated protection device is the key element realizing integrated automation system. The structure, principles and functions of an integrated protection device are presented in detail.
