Abstract :
In the 3D garment simulation, collision detection is key technology to the simulation performance, especially in the multi-layer garment simulation, this problem become even more important. This paper presented a method can efficiently and robustly process penetration between multi-layer garments, firstly we constructed AABB tree for the simulation object, and it is used to the collision detection. When the penetration occurred in the simulation process, we presented a pull-outer-layer method to deal with the penetration area. Experimental results showed that our method can efficiently solve the penetration problem appeared in the multi-layer simulation.
