Abstract :
Urban water and vegetation, which are important means of mitigation urban heat island, can effectively improve urban thermal environment. In this article, Landsat Enhanced Thematic Mapper image was used to quantitatively monitor and analyze the effect of water landscape on thermal environment, especially on the relationship between the area, perimeter, shape index of water landscape and its thermal environment. The results showed that the temperature of water plaque was sensitively influenced by the type, characteristics and the position of water. However, the relationship between the water plaque and its surrounding thermal environment was closer to water geographical position than those three factors.
