Abstract :
With the help of Erdas and ARCGIS software, this paper using seven different periods and different sources remote sensing images studied the processes of Shenzhen Bay sea reclamation from 1979 to 2009. During the study period, sea reclamation area presented rising trend. Compared with the preceding period, Dalian Bay sea reclamation after the 20th century spreads mainly in the north of Dalian Bay Bay in a continuous way and the area of sea reclamation is much bigger. The sea reclamation land has been used in many domains, such as transportation, industry, business, housing, etc.
