Abstract :
With the fast developing of basic transportation construction, there will be more and more tunnels passing through coal-bearing stratum, and gas disasters in tunnel constructions may increase. We can draw a conclusion from Long-term production practice that the reasons of many gas disasters are carelessness in site management, adverse or serious lag in preventive measures. So it´s very important to monitor and forecast gas in the construction of tunnels to reduce gas disasters. Based on the experience of a large number of gas tunnel constructions, this paper proposes a technology used in gas monitoring of tunnels passing through coal-bearing stratum (including gas monitoring and data forecast),the technology is also a network, real-time monitoring system, and it can monitor gas in the whole construction of tunnels comprehensively and uninterruptedly. At the same time, this paper also researches another prediction technology about gas, the technology uses the latest mathematical methods to analyze the monitoring data in order to predict the occurrence time of abnormal gas, it is important to prevent gas accidents. The both technologies were used in the Zipingpu tunnel and achieved good results, so it is hopeful that the both technologies can provide reference for other gas tunnel constructions.
