Abstract :
Model parameterization was important to the application of analytical model to water color remote sensing. Based on Gordon´s Bio-optical model, analytical model of water color remote sensing was parameterized using field data of inherent optical properties, apparent optical properties and water quality parameters surveyed in Oct., 2004 in Lake Taihu. The accuracy of analytical model parameters was tested by comparing simulated reflectance spectrum to the field spectrum. The results showed that parameterized analytical model could be used to simulated water reflectance spectrum well. However, big errors appeared in some sample points due to the high level of concentration of suspended particulate matter.
